Description
Are We Alone is an infographic design project that investigates the possibility of extraterrestrial civilizations through visual research and data translation. Drawing from scientific frameworks such as the Rare Earth Hypothesis and speculative models of non–carbon-based life, the project organizes complex astronomical concepts into a coherent visual system.
Abstract data related to probability, scale, and uncertainty is translated through diagrams, typographic hierarchy, texture, and color gradients. Variations in texture density are used to articulate relationships between black, white, and gray, exploring how fundamental visual elements can function as carriers of meaning. Rather than presenting definitive conclusions, the project employs editorial structure to visualize speculation and indeterminacy, framing the search for extraterrestrial life as an open and continuously evolving question.
